Urban Art Tour by Calle Libre

Vienna's most striking artworks don't hang in museums — they're on fire walls, power boxes and the backs of buildings, and most of them will be gone in a few years. Created together with Calle Libre, Vienna's international street art festival, this riddle tour takes you through the 6th and 7th districts, past murals several storeys high and pieces you'd never spot from a passing tram. On the route: works by Millo, Rodrigo Branco, Hnrx and other artists who came to Vienna for Calle Libre. At 10 stops, riddles await that can only be solved on site: signatures, hidden figures and details that reveal what the artists actually put into the wall. No prior knowledge of the scene required, just keep your eyes open. Everything is out in the open air — no admission tickets needed.
