How long does a tour take?
Most tours take 1–2 hours, depending on your pace.
Can I take a break?
Yes, anytime. You can even pause and continue on another day.
What if it rains?
Just pause the tour and continue later, ideally from a nice café nearby.
Where is CityRiddler available?
Currently in Vienna, Salzburg, Prague and Rome.
Do I need entrance tickets?
No. All riddles can be solved from outside.
How do I start my tour?
After your purchase you receive a code by email. Download the CityRiddler app, tap “Join experience” and enter your code.
How many people can play with one code?
One smartphone guides the group. We recommend up to 6 players.
Which payment methods can I use?
In our shop: credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, EPS and more. In the app: Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Can I give a tour as a gift?
Yes, see our gift options.
Which phones does it work on?
The app is available for iOS and Android.
Do I need mobile internet?
Yes, you need mobile data during the tour.
Do I need to share my location?
Yes, you will need it for navigation between riddles.
The app isn’t working. What can I do?
Close and restart the app and check for updates in your app store. Still stuck? Write to contact@cityriddler.com.
Do you offer team events or school trips?
Yes, we create custom tours for groups.
